Rockin', energetic, tight, creative, and awe-inspiring are just a few of the words that describe our band.  A power trio with all the essentials, music is thrust to the audience with a "in your face" attitude.  Maintaining the audiences attention is a prime directive for us.  This is accomplished by continued dynamic changes and styles within each of our songs that we play.  Offering a range of styles from ballads to funky instrumentals, we offer something for everyone.  It has been our experience in the past that the ages of people who enjoy our music hits the entire age spectrum.  Give us the chance to fill your ears and soul with an original sound and tone like you've never heard before.  Currently our arsenal of songs consists of our interpretations of popular cover tunes as well as a growing collection of original works written by us.  Original CD's availble at www.cdbaby.com and major digital distributions such as iTunes and MSN Music.

Blue Onion is an original band from Kalispell, Montana. Blues is our foundation, but areas of funk, jazz, and rock are often explored. Blue Onion, a rockin' power trio from Kalispell, MT was formed in 1998. The band has some blues roots, but the rest of this tree rocks. Blue Onion is not just another blues band. The hard work ethics that all three of us practice during our other professions carry over into our musical performances.  Please consider us for your next musical event.
